Your Clapotis yarn is lucious! Enjoy the Yarn Harlot book! I have been. :)
Isn't the yarn divine? I'm giving myself over the dark side of luxury yarn -- I get so little time to knit, I should enjoy it to the utmost, don't you think?
I'm lusting after some Koigu, but stopping myself because I don't know if I'll be able to stand using such fine yarn and wee needles.
You could always knit the koigu doubled. :)
*Whistling innocently and staring at the ceiling*
Yup, you're innocent alright. You've also got me wanting to try lace, after seeing how gorgeous Nikki's shawl is.
Did you decide not to do a Cozy? A koigu Cozy, perhaps? ;)
Hey, lace is much easier if start with something that's not lace weight. You should see the doily one of my stitch n bitch friends knit as her first (?) lace project. On 0s! ZER-OHs! Actually, you can see it on her blog
Oh god, I faint just looking at that.
I still want to do a Cozy, but I'm thinking that I want a triangular shawl first now.
So many projects, so little time. Tell me to get the boys' Christmas stockings started so that they might be done by... Christmas.
I want my next shawl to be one with shoulder shaping, I think. Or perhaps, more simply, one like this
. We'll see. :)
Good plan. I have a pile of yarn for christmas gifts that I should start knitting so that I'm not frantically knitting on Christmas Eve again!

It looks as though you may have knit into the stitch below the row that was being worked which would have left a long strand across the back. Does the stitch in front look a little more stretched up & down than the ones around it?
